Jonathan Woolridge Racing -4.png

Jonathan Woolridge

Born in Ajax, Ontario Jonathan has dreamed of being a racecar driver since the early age of 6.

Working through the levels of racing beginning in Karting to F1600, Jonathan is committed to achieving his goals, bringing the JWR brand along with him. When Jonathan first began his racing career in 2009, he recognized that it takes risk and commitment to fulfill a strong performance rate. Success or no success, the JWR team learns from each race to stay competitive.

Formula 1600 is the first step into a professional career of driving. With large success in the National Karting level, Jonathan has made the large step into Formula 1600 racing cars, signing under one of the biggest successors in F1600 Brian Graham Racing.

Devoted to being behind the wheel and maintaining a strong focus, Jonathan and the JWR team will accomplish the very goal that started them both.

While the racing happens on the track, the real race happens off the track. Jonathan's racing career has taught him the unique ability to combine his passion for racing with business.

With gathering large support from sponsors such as Canadian Tire,  to demonstrating professionalism around the team at Brian Graham Racing, Jonathan continues to push the boundaries of performance off the track.

Representing Canada at the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch, England in his Rookie year of Formula 1600 pushed Jonathan to maximize his own performance, continuing to pursue his goal.

Mark Motors Racing

2020 not only saw a great return to F1600 finishing 3rd over all in the championship with only competing 5 out of the 6 rounds. It also saw some amazing testing opportunity with Mark Motors Racing in their 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 cup car. This is a possible step forward to a professional career path.
